The voice of
Afro-Caribbean culture.
We exist to tell our stories, with our voices, for our community. ZEAG MEDIA was born from a glaring silence—a lack of quality representation for French-speaking Afro-Caribbean communities in Canada. We are more than a platform; we are a cultural movement dedicated to authenticity and the amplification of the realities that shape us.
Authentic storytelling
as a standard.
In June 2025, Junior Desruisseaux observed a gap in the Ottawa-Gatineau media landscape. While our community was vibrant, our stories were often filtered or forgotten by mainstream outlets. Zeag Média was established to reclaim that narrative.
What started as a strategic vision for business development and institutional representation evolved into a full-scale digital infrastructure. We combined technological innovation with cultural passion, ensuring that our music, our news, and our thinkers have a 24/7 stage.
Today, we are building a cultural archive. From sports journalism to deep-dive cultural programming, we highlight the achievements that make our diaspora proud, grounded in financial rigor and journalistic excellence.
"Every show is a conversation with our community. We give a voice to artists, thinkers, and agents of cultural change."— Patrick Georges, General Management
